Company Audition for 2008-2009 Season is open to all students enrolled as pre-professional students in either the Classical Ballet Division or Dance Team Division Age 8 and up.

OYB Director of Operations: Nicole McKinney
Membership in OHIO YOUTH BALLET will offer dancers the opportunity to work with many guest Choreographers and Master Teacher and will include performance opportunities that will help in developing dancing skills and experience. Enjoy being a company member working to promote and foster the love of dance within our community.
Unique to this years Company: Ohio Youth Ballet will offer two Divisions:
Pre-Professional Classical Ballet Team Primary Training will focus on classical Ballet.
Pre-Professional Dance Team: Dance training will focus on serval dance diciplines tailored to the dancers personal dance goals.
Both these groups will work together as OHIO YOUTH BALLET members.

As a member of OHIO YOUTH BALLET you will train under the expert eyes of international and nationally know artists such as Natayla Vyashenko-Connor, Dani Aleman, Ashely Studer, Desmond Beasley and visiting guest artist. All Ohio Youth Ballet members will have many exciting performance opportunities from outreaches to full productions. OYB strives to put our dancers first. We work with individual dancer's schedule to help them balance their busy lifestyles. We ecourage and inspire our dancers' to be well rounded and versatile artists for today's entertainment Industry.
OYB is looking for individuals who are interested in making a difference in the lives of talented, local children. You can make a difference in many ways. You can join our OYB Board and make a commitment to maintaining OYB ‘s philosophy, as well as helping to keep OYB fiscally sound. We are currently looking to fill the multiple Board positions.
You can also become a OYB Volunteer lending your talents to this dynamic group in a number of ways: Graphic Services (designing flyers, ads, cards, program design), Fund Raising (chairing one of our yearly events), Performance Volunteers (ushers, performance liaisons, sales and marketing functions, etc.)
